We support separated migrant children in care and care leavers with an asylum background. Our group uses music, sports, art and culture to empower young refugees and asylum seekers settling in Middlesbrough.

 

 

Our Passion for sharing African Music

Bringing the rhythms of Africa to the Tees Valley

At Rhythms of Africa Tees Valley, we are deeply passionate about sharing the joy and beauty of African music. Our mission is to promote the marimba, a traditional African musical instrument, and showcase the rich musical heritage of Southern Africa. Through our performances, workshops, and community engagement, we aim to inspire and educate people of all ages about the history and significance of the marimba in African culture.
